Conference Venue
Due to current operational restrictions at Technische Universität Berlin, including the temporary closure of the main building, it has become necessary to relocate the conference venue.

Welcome Reception – Sunday, 13 September
From 17:00, we warmly invite all participants to join us for drinks and snacks.
This will be a great opportunity to arrive in a relaxed atmosphere, meet fellow participants and get a first impression of the Peter-Behrens-Halle.
Conference Opening – Monday, 14 September
On the first conference day, Monday, 14 September 2026, registration opens at 08:00.
The Opening Ceremony will begin at 09:00 and will be broadcast live to all conference rooms. This means that you can follow the Opening Ceremony from your assigned room.
Due to the limited capacity of the rooms and the large number of participants, we kindly ask everyone to go directly to their assigned room for the first session.
Thank you for your cooperation. This will help us ensure a smooth start to the conference.
EAEE Association Council Dinner – 15.09.2026
To EAEE National Delegates and Executive Committee Members
• Date: Tuesday 15/9/26, between 19:00 and 22:00
• Venue: Dorint / Le Faubourg (Address: Augsburger Straße 41, 10789 Berlin https://lefaubourg.berlin/en) with formal dinner
• The Association Council is composed of the Delegates of National Members and the Executive Committee Members
• The main purpose is to elect the city and the National Member to organise the next European Conference in 2030 among the candidates proposed by the Executive Committee.
Conference Dinner – 16.09.2026
Join us for the Conference Dinner at Arminius Market Hall (Arminiusmarkthalle). Enjoy a special dining experience at the historic Arminiusmarkthalle in Berlin-Moabit, offering a unique atmosphere for networking and inspiring discussions. Guests are free to choose from variety of food stalls offering diverse local and international cuisine, allowing for an individual and enjoyable dining experience.

Photography
Please note that photos will be taken during the event and may be used by the organisers and host for publications and websites. Should you be opposed to your picture being used in this way, please contact the photographer or the organisers onsite.
Voltage
Electricity in through Germany is supplied a 230 Volts 50 Hz system. Germany uses the Europlug (CEE 7/16), which is used in most other European countries. Visitors from the following European countries will have to use an adapter: Italy, United Kingdom, Ireland, Cyprus, Malta, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Denmark. Visitors from outside Europe will also need an adapter to use their electrical appliances in Germany.
Language
The official language of the Conference is English. No simultaneous translation will be provided.
Weather
Weather in Germany in September: typically mild with gradually cooler days as autumn approaches. Expect average daytime temperatures around 15–23°C (59–73°F), with some warmer spells and occasional rain showers. Pack a light jacket and an umbrella for variable conditions. Overall, pleasant for outdoor activities and conference events, but be prepared for fluctuating weather.
Food Allergies
If you have any questions about the food served at the conference, please contact the staff at the buffet tables, they will be able to advise you regarding the food and any particular requirements you may have. Labels will also be provided for some food categories, for example vegetarian.

Enquire at the ECEE registration desk if you have lost any of your belongings.

Smoking Policies
The Technische Universität Berlin is a non-smoking area. Smoking is only allowed outside in front of the main entrance of the venue.

Local Transportation
Berlin is easy to navigate with a mix of fast transit, cycling, and walkable streets. Public transport is reliable and well connected.
U-Bahn, S-Bahn, buses, and trams: Use BVG services.
A single trip or day ticket is affordable and can be bought at machines, apps, or kiosks. The BVG app is convenient for planning routes and real-time updates.

Validate on boarding where required. Consider a day pass if you’ll travel often in a day
Tips:
Download route plans ahead of your arrival and keep offline maps as a backup.
Allow extra time for transit during peak hours or events. If you’re unsure, ask hotel concierges or venue staff for the best routes.
